Paintings
My favorite thing to create as an artist are paintings. Pushing paint and color around on a canvas or paper to create an image is something special. My intention is to invoke a feeling of peace and beauty for the viewer. I was given this gift to create by God and my work will always honor Him and that gift.
These little birds are so fun to watch at the beach. They run along the waves as they search for food. I knew they would be an interesting subject to paint. This would be a great painting for your desk or shelf to remember your time at the beach or to plan your next visit!

Does this make you think of that one song in Mary Poppins when Julie Andrews sings to the robins outside her window? No? Well whatever this makes you think of, I hope it is something special. This is beautiful on it’s own or with the other bird paintings in this series.

Don’t you just love the name “Chickadee”? It is just a fun name. This would be great on it’s own or with the other birds in this series.

Even if they won’t look at each other, they are friends. Just keeping a look out for a crumb. This would be great on it’s own or with the series.

A party of birds? When and where? This was created with the acrylic paintings of birds but done in watercolor. This painting also has a metallic shimmer to it.

I created this for an art contest for the Texas Birding Classic 2027 shirt design. I liked joining and I am very proud of the design that won. They wanted a graphic design and here I was sending in a full blown painting! Maybe next year. For now, you can own this colorful bird.

I think chickens are such odd birds but so funny too. One day I would love to have chickens. Would you love some chickens? All I can offer are these cuties.

Summer in the Texas Hill Country usually means people selling Fredericksburg peaches on the corner. They are delicious and juicy. This bright summer painting will remind you of summer.

Inspired by Shark Week, I painted one of the more unique looking sharks, the Leopard Shark. No scary teeth, just a view of the shark’s beautiful skin. This painting would be great for any shark fan young or old!
